X-rays are helpful in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions:
- Heart disease
- Bladder and kidney stones
- Lung infections, allergies, and tumors
- Arthritis
-
Fractures and other trauma
-
Intestinal obstruction or foreign bodies
Some conditions are best diagnosed with ultrasound, CT, or MRI. If your pet’s treatment plan requires one of these, we will provide a referral to an appropriate specialist.
Full-Body Digital Radiography
Brintnell Veterinary Hospital has a full suite of digital x-ray equipment. This means we can have images available for interpretation within minutes. If we have any questions about your pet’s images, we transmit them electronically to an imaging specialist who assists us in the diagnosis.
