Dr. Fredlund graduated in 1998 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, then moved to Edmonton to begin her regular practice. She also has experience in emergency, rehab, and shelter medicine. She believes that the best veterinary practices emphasize communication with pet owners to ensure they are making choices that are best for them and their furry friends.
Dr. Fredlund is in a committed relationship with Pickles the horse, Lily the greyhound cross, Blueberry, Mango, and Freya the cats, and a few humans.
Dr. Ho understands that every pet owner’s relationship with their furry friend is special and unique. She is committed to working closely with pet owners to help keep their animals healthy and happy. In her spare time, Dr. Ho enjoys spending time with friends and family, indoor rock climbing, hiking and camping, and relaxing with her family companions, Leo (the soft coated wheaten terrier) and Charlie (the black and white shih tzu).
While Jennifer’s primary role at the hospital is practice management and she’s constantly enhancing her knowledge and skills in small business and veterinary management, she still ensures that she spends plenty of time working with animals as an RVT.
Jennifer has two special kitties in her life: Miss Pickle and Puddin’. Although most of her life she claimed to be more of a cat person, she is now the happiest dog mom to a rescue named Archie, who has been awarded “best dog in the whole wide world!”
Today, Britney shares her ever-growing farm with 10 chickens, 3 horses, 8 cats, and 2 German Shepherds, Jagger and June. Britney’s partner, Troy, can also be spotted amongst the animal chaos.
In her spare time, you’ll find Britney exploring the outdoors. They love hopping in the camper (yes, a few kitties too!) for weekend getaways in the wilderness.
Colbey is excited to pursue her career goals and continue learning alongside the Brintnell Veterinary Hospital team. In her spare time, she loves gardening, hiking, and camping with her husband Mitch, or just relaxing at home with their two cats, Gizmo and Gears, and their Basset hound Pearl.
Sydney has one dog named Zeus. In her spare time, they enjoy hiking together in the summer and spending time with family.
Her inspiration and passion come from her journey with her own reactive dog Neeka, a heeler/collie cross. Amy also shares her home with a few of her favorite humans, Brynn the lab/collie cross, Sophie and Oliver Newton the cats.
When she isn’t working, Kelly enjoys cuddling with her black cat Bagheera, keeping her other cat Smudge out of trouble, reading thriller-suspense novels, training in Salsa-Bachata-Kizomba dance styles, and spending time with family and friends. She’s also currently pursuing part-time studies in Linguistics and Speech Pathology.
Aside from her passion for helping animals, Kierra enjoys spending her free time doing things she loves. You can find her out and about exploring the outdoors, on a camping trip, spending time with loved ones or getting cozy with her fur babies.
Leah has been passionate about animals for as long as she can remember. When she was not spending time with her own pets at home, Leah could often be found in barns or stables. She never missed an opportunity to ride horseback, whether show jumping or enjoying a relaxing trail ride through the mountains.
